Torbay-born and a product of Argyle's youth system, Mwaro developed into a versatile defender after joining the club's Academy at under-11 level. He had previously played for Kingsteignton Athletic, Fusion FC and Saints Southwest, and was a pupil at Coombeshead Academy in Newton Abbot.
He made his full debut for the under-18s during the 2024-25 Youth Alliance League South season and, at just 15, was also part of the Argyle side that reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup, where they lost 3-0 to Aston Villa at Villa Park in March 2025.
Having featured on the fringes of the first team during pre-season in both the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons, he was handed his senior debut by Tom Cleverley as a 17-year-old in a League Cup tie against Premier League side Coventry City at Home Park, earning the Man of the Match award after an impressive debut.
