Greens on Screen started its life in 1999 before many of the football sites that we are familiar with today, including Plymouth Argyle's own official site. Greens on Screen is dedicated to the sights, sounds and history of Plymouth Argyle Football club. It is owned and run by the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive, a charity dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and display of the heritage of our great football club.

The site owes its existence to Steve Dean. Without Steve's dedication and commitment for over 25 years, GoS would not exist and be the valued and loved resource for all football fans that it is today. The site is truly the envy of many clubs, and we owe a huge debt to Steve for his tireless work, and continued support behind the scenes.

Greens on Screen's first page was published in January 1999. Its early purpose was to bring Plymouth Argyle a little closer to those unable to see their team, and whilst it has changed a great deal over the years, its core themes - sights and sounds for Westcountry exiles - still stand. The site was very lucky to take on the content of Trevor Scallan's Semper Viridis in the summer of 2007, and in 2009 launched GoS-DB, a wealth of facts and figures from PAFC's history. A year later, we embarked on a complete history of Argyle, with much-valued contributions from chapter authors. Greens on Screen was taken over by its new custodians, The Argyle Archive, in 2024.

Greens on Screen is an amateur website and proud of it. It is run by a team of volunteers from the Plymouth Argyle Heritage Archive (Argyle Archive). Without the hard work and much-valued contributions of these volunteers, running the site would not be possible. Greens on Screen is self-taught and as a result, a little bit quirky.

Greens on Screen remains advertisement free, which means we are grateful for the generous support of our donors and the work of our volunteers to help keep it free of promotions. Born in Maidstone, Kent, he joined Tottenham Hotspur's Academy as an under-8 in 2008.

Having progressed through the club's youth ranks, he first featured for Spurs' under-21 side in the Football League Trophy and marked the occasion by scoring against Portsmouth in an EFL Trophy tie at Fratton Park in 2018 - a ground he would return to on loan just over two years later.

In May 2019, he won his first England under-18 cap in a penalty shoot-out defeat following a 1-1 draw after extra time against Spain. He went on to make two appearances at under-18 level before adding a further cap for the under-20 side during the 2020-21 season.

His senior debut for Spurs came in November 2020, when José Mourinho introduced him as an 82nd-minute substitute in a 4-0 UEFA Europa League victory over Ludogorets Razgrad. The following month, he signed a contract extension until the summer of 2024 before making his second senior appearance in January 2021 during a 5-0 FA Cup Third Round victory over eighth-tier Marine. The televised tie also featured future Argyle loanee Alfie Devine, who became Spurs' youngest-ever goalscorer.

Later that month, he joined League One side Portsmouth on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign, making 21 appearances and scoring once. Returning to Spurs at the end of the spell, he rejoined the under-21 squad before being included by new head coach Antonio Conte for pre-season friendlies against OGC Nice and Motherwell. He made his Premier League debut as an 86th-minute substitute in a 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace in January 2023 before joining fellow League One side Derby County on loan later that month, making 15 appearances during the second half of the season.

Despite remaining under contract at Spurs until 2024, he was allowed to join nearby League One club Stevenage in September 2023 for an undisclosed fee, signing a three-year contract.

He quickly established himself as a key member of Stevenage's midfield, making 41 League One appearances during the 2024-25 campaign before maintaining his impressive form the following season as the Hertfordshire club challenged towards the top of the table. Over three seasons at the Lamex Stadium, he made 118 appearances and scored 11 goals.

With his contract having expired at the end of the 2025-26 season, he declined the option of remaining at Stevenage and instead accepted Argyle's offer, becoming Tom Cleverley's fourth signing of the summer after Alex Hartridge, Wes Harding and James Storer. He joined the Greens on a three-year contract.
