From Lionel Campuzano in Crewe, Cheshire. on 03/11/2013 ...
As an Aberdonian, Scott Paterson started and finished his professional playing career with his home-town club Cove Rangers who play in the Scottish Highland Football League, and who are located in the village of Cove, on the North Sea coast, just three and a half miles south of the city of Aberdeen. When Scott was freed by Carlisle United in the summer of 1999, he actually signed for Huntly in the Highland League, where his older brother was club captain and centre-half. Scott only lasted three months at Huntly when Roy McFarland, former England captain and Manager of Cambridge United at the time, signed Scott in mid-October 1999. As of November 2013, Scott is Assistant Manager at one of his former clubs, Glasgow-based SPL side Partick Thistle.
