DANNY BANCE
Full Name: Daniel Robert Bance
Born: 27 September 1982
Came from: Trainee Went to: Taunton Town
First game: 16 April 2001 Last game: 16 April 2001

Bance was born in Plymouth. A former youth trainee, he began his career as an apprentice with Argyle and progressed through the club's youth system as a midfielder.
He would go on to make just a single appearance for the club aged 18, his first team debut in April 2001 in a chastening 3-0 defeat at Kidderminster Harriers, in Division Three, during Paul Sturrock's first season in charge. He was substituted after 49 minutes and it proved to be his only appearance in the professional game.
Bance later joined Southern League side Weymouth on trial at the same time as Joe Broad in July 2001, with a view to joining the club on loan. However the move never materialised and he was released by Argyle in the summer of 2002 as Sturrock re-built.
He then signed a two-year contract with Taunton Town. Returning further south west, he then joined St Blazey, where he won the South Western League title twice, in the 2004-05 and 2006-07, and later captained the side.
He later moved to Liskeard Athletic in January 2010 and seven months later, he signed for Bodmin Town.
Bance later transitioned into coaching in the south west non-league circuit, having coached St Blazey and later serving as the first team assistant manager at Bodmin Town. He remains settled in Plymouth, and has carved out a second corporate career at Princess Yachts (an Argyle club sponsor) as their Technical and Compliance Training Manager, a leadership role he stepped into in May 2023. He also turned out for and captained Mount Gould FC.
