Devonport End on the Up

Six weeks on from the start and spot on target, the first steel girders are rising at the Devonport End. I assume that these form the front section of the construction, and counting the number of steps (around 14), it looks as if the finished stand will have around 20-24 rows. That's about the same as the old Lyndhurst, but of course these stands will have a much steeper gradient.

Thanks to Stuart Caskey for the first picture, the arrival of the first lorries at 0745 this morning. I took the others at around 1700, so progress promises to be rapid!

Thanks to the Club for giving access to Home Park.
