Yes it's half time - today is exactly half way between the first day of demolition (Aug 6th) and Boxing Day, the opening day for the two ends. I can't let the day go by, I thought, so up I trooped on a dreadful evening here in Plymouth. Wet and dismal, but good old Barr go on undeterred, with the help of the mobile floodlights. I've done my best to enhance the photos, actually the light looks a lot better than it actually was. I know the pictures aren't particularly good, but I had to mark the occasion somehow!

As you can see, the lower levels of the concrete terrace have nearly joined up, and the rear steelwork is starting to head round the corners. The concrete base of the Devonport End was laid today, and you can just spot the first steel sheeting being fixed at the back of the Devonport End, white inside and green on the outside.

Thanks to the Club for giving access to Home Park, and Barr for their cooperation
