Ooh it's a Corner!

Like yesterday, Barr tried again today (Saturday) to raise the first roof girder, but again it proved to be too dangerous because of the strong winds. The weather forecast for tomorrow is even worse, so we may have to wait for a few days.

Some video clips as well as stills this time. The first clip shows the roof girder (the first of fifty!) being withdrawn as the attempt is aborted. Also in these shots, the Barn Park End, now completely terraced, and behind it, the foundations of an emergency access road. And the inner steelwork has progressed around each corner - I'm told that in three weeks or so, the Lyndhurst will look as the ends do now.

Special thanks to Ian Newell for the final picture.
