Pilgrims' Way, Part 2

Admittedly not the most exciting of all redevelopment pages, but for those unable to get to Home Park, these photos show how the second phase of bricks have been added. There are 223 new engraved bricks, laid in 4 rows between blocks of blank bricks at each end. From what I can gather, the remaining central area will be paved, either with bricks or slabs. It'll be interesting to see what happens longer term - from what I remember of the original plans, phase 2 could see quite a landscape change here, with steps leading up to the new side. So perhaps the fact that all the bricks have been dry-laid will allow a different arrangement longer term. Personally, I'd like to see them built into the the wall either side of the new main entrance in the 4th side - a truly permanent part of the club. We shall have to wait and see.
