Boxing Day - 8

Every day there's something new, and you really do feel that it's all going to come together. Not that we ever doubted it of course! The first couple in this set were taken yesterday, when the boys from the black stuff had just begun. The rest were shot today.

Inside the stadium today: halogen lights are now in position alongside the speakers on the edge of the Devonport End roof, and more letters are forming in the Lyndhurst.

Finally, outside the Devonport End: the first picture was taken at midday today, the rest this evening. If you look closely you can see the first layer of bitumen surfacing that must have been laid this afternoon, as well as work continuing on all sides, well after dark. In the foreground of the last picture, another new piece of the jigsaw: a mounting tower for security cameras.
