DAVID COOPER
Born: 25 June 1971
Came from: Wimbledon Went to: Crawley Town
First game: 13 April 1991 Last game: 20 April 1991
Appearances: 3 (0/3) Goals: 0
The young Lambeth-born forward joined Argyle as one of several players David Kemp recruited from his former club, Wimbledon. Having served his apprenticeship and youth career with The Dons he failed to breakthrough to the first team. Moving to Home Park in April 1991 as a 19-year old, his three appearances from the bench all came within a week, finishing on a high in a 4-1 win against Blackburn Rovers, though he failed to find the net. After what proved to be his only action in the Football League, he left Home Park and signed briefly for Redbridge Forest - now part of the present day Dagenham & Redbridge - for the remainder of the season. After leaving Redbridge Forest he signed for Crawley Town in August 1991, and then Carsharlton the following year.
